Marbles

Marbles
An inventor is a peron who makes things to solve problems, or to improve things that have alredy been invented. Toys and games are inventions too, such as marbles, boardgames, and dice games.
There is, no actual inventor known that invented the marble, because they're so old. Greeks and Romans had marbles over 50 centuries ago. They have been found in historic caves made of baked clay. People who lived in America before the Indians came here had marbles too.
Marbles are usually made of glass, the first marbles were made out of stone or clay. In, Turkey, Iran, and Syria marbles are made out of clay or nuckles of sheep. Steel ball bearings used as marbles are called steelies. Glass marbles with colored swirls are called glassies. Marbles were one of the first games ever played.
Marbles have been played all overe the world for centuries. When the Pilgrams came to America, the children played marbles when they had spare time. Marbles are so famous, England once celebrated Good Friday as Marbles Day.
There are many different kinds of marble games such as Chinese Checkers and Cherry Bomb. Bowling is a type of marble game too.
